46th Annual Fireworks Display
Once again the skies of Billericay will be brought to life with fire and sparkles as Billericay Round Table celebrate Guy Fawkes Night on Saturday, 7th November 2015 with our 46th annual bonfire and fireworks extravaganza. (MAIN DISPLAY IS AT 8.00PM – full schedule on Event Info page)
Biggest Firework Display in Essex
By far the biggest fireworks display in the area, the event is eagerly awaited by many across Billericay, Basildon, Witham, Chelmsford, Colchester, Romford, Southend and beyond, with literally thousands of enquiries for tickets and information coming through the website. In 2012, we posted online tickets out to NINE counties! The event is held in the grounds of Lake Meadows Park, Billericay, which provides a magnificent backdrop over the lake for the grand display.
As well as a huge bonfire and a £21,000 fireworks display again in 2015, there will be a live roadshow provided by Heart FM, with hosts Martin and Su lined up to introduce some special guests. There will also be a variety of food and drink available on site throughout the evening and we have a couple of other unusual surprises up our sleeves!
Kids Display – 6.15pm
For the first time, as far as we can remember anyway, there will be an extra fireworks show specially for the younger kids, with some old favourites including Catherine wheels, flying pigeons, Roman candles, colour mines, falling leaves, colour strobes, crackling comets, a Lotus wheel, small rockets, static fireworks, fountains and generally less noisy crackling! For an insight into the high levels of pyrotechnics we employ, please visit the website of our display supplier, Spyrotechnics.
As always, most of the profit that Billericay Round Table raise from the event will go back into the community, in the form of donations and grants to local groups, voluntary associations, charities and individual worthy causes. No members of the Round Table take any fee for arranging the event and this means the maximum amount of funding is available to those in need of help. We still support some charities and projects that are outside of the community but we always look to keep it local as a first priority.
We look forward to seeing everyone on the night and hope they enjoy the show as much as we enjoy putting it on. We strongly recommend getting your tickets in advance, not only to save money but to avoid disappointment on the gate.
