This site was first launched in time for the 2008
fireworks event, to give information about the
event, ticket prices, our sponsors/helpers and a
little bit about what Billericay Round Table does
for the community.
The aim is to make the site a permanent fixture and
provide even more information for the years to come,
including details about parking, entrance/exit
places, disabled access, entertainment line-ups and
refreshments.
We had planned to provide online ticket sales in time for this year's event, however the setting up of this system was too much work and we are now looking at going live for the 2010 event.
The members of Billericay Round Table (594), along with many helpers from other organisations, put a massive amount of preparation
into this event every year. The plans for 2009 were well under way even before the embers had been extinguished from
this year's event and will continue right up until
the gates open at Lake Meadows.
From organising the materials for the fire, meticulously planning the fireworks routine and music,
to arranging entertainment, food, toilets, emergency services and safety barriers, the tasks are endless.
Thankfully, when it all comes together on the night, everyone involved is rewarded with THE biggest and best fireworks display in Billericay and indeed in Essex.
Attracting up to 18,000 people each year, the Billericay Round Table Charity Fireworks event continues to host a great night out for all the family
